Flights are available year-round, weather permitting, from 6 AM – 8 AM so that you will soar over the beautiful vineyards of Valle de Guadalupe at sunrise. The reason flights take place so early in the morning is because of the heat. After dawn, the sun will warm the atmosphere and create more movement in the air. For this reason, the early hours of the day and afternoon are the best for flying since the air is much more consistent, which makes for a smoother ride.
The actual flight time is approximately 40 minutes and includes a sparkling wine toast in the air or ground. Winds will determine the balloon’s direction, and the landing location can be different for each flight. So, after landing, you will be transported back to your car.
Don’t worry; this adventure is very safe. All balloons at Globos del Valle are in perfect condition for flights, and pilots are commercially certified from the AFAC. It’s a great way to celebrate a special occasion and banners are available.
